Pictures of Hull, GA05-21-2007On our way to Watson Mill State Park we passed through the town of Hull. Hull is really more of a bedroom community for Athens. It's pretty close to Athens and as a result, it doesn't need much of a "downtown". In fact, the civic buildings appeared to have been converted from homes. The nickname for Hull, it the Well city. True to form, at the main intersection there was a well. The well is located in a small park at the main intersection in town across from the railroad tracks. Behind the tracks there was a rather large cemetary (for such a small town).
