Julian M. Hughes Monument, Holly Springs, GA11-13-2006There is a monument at the town’s center recognizing Holly Springs as the birthplace of Julian M. Hughes. The monument is a bit of a mystery as there is no particular reason for honoring Mr. Hughes, yet somebody placed it prominently in the middle of town.
